AMERICAN LEGION POST 903

  American Legion Post 903 was charted in April of 1947. We are located in Mt Pocono Pennsylvania; we cover Tobyhanna down into Pocono township. We were the only post in Monroe County without our post. In May of 2020 we acquired the St Mary’s of the Mount Parish off Fairview Ave in Mt Pocono the property will restored to its former glory and become the home of Post 903. We are here for our Veterans, their families and the community. We also have Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Twice a year we replace American flags on our Veterans graves in twelve different local cemeteries. We also maintain the Tannersville War Memorial off route 611 and hold most of our ceremonies at the Memorial. Since 2014 we have been repairing and rebuilding the War Memorial in Tannersville. Everything we do depends on the community that been great to us. Without their help we would not be here.
